Anderson .Paak Talks Childhood, Making of ‘OXNARD’ on The Breakfast Club

Even before OXNARD came out, Anderson .Paak was going hard with the promo for the album and after a few weeks of its release, he’s still out here preaching the gospel. During the interview, he talked about how it was growing up for him with his parents in jail, how he got into church in the first place and why he changed his name from Breezy LoveJoy.

Speaking about the album, he broke down why Madlib didn’t make the cut when he wanted him on there, writing for other people and why he doesn’t like doing it much and the tour he’s got on the way next year.

Most of this stuff, you may have heard before, but .Paak had a few gems in there for the long-time fans who have been keeping up as well.
