It’s crazy to think, but Ariana Grande has never made an appearance on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. Thanks to Sweetener, she’s making her debut and she’s performing one of her favorite records of the past year. As you’d know, artists that hit the lounge usually cover other people’s songs and Ariana is paying tribute to Thundercat‘s “Them Changes” from his Drunk album. The band kept the backing track pretty much the same as the original, but Ms. Grande sprinkled a little bit of those wide range of vocals on the live version. It was particularly interesting hearing it with a female voice after listening to the original for so long.
