It’s fair to say that 2012’s been an eventful year for the female singer/rapper from Harlem. Right now was the perfect opportunity to look back on her achievements, as well as things she could improve on. One of the highlights of the past 12 months was undoubtedly her 1991 EP under Interscope Records, which received generally favorable reviews from a good number of sources, particularly having her “212” single with Lazy Jay have much success on radio and television in the United Kingdom. Azealia Banks spoke on New Year’s resolutions, releasing two albums in the next 12 months, information on her future releases, performing in Hong Kong, her opinion on rap music and much more. Her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste is set to surface at some point next year.
