Azekel has been working on his craft over the years, and now, it seems like he’s found his true identity. On his mature new song “Black Is Beauty (Daughters),” he’s singing sweet lullabies to his children and telling them to shine on.
The track is one of three songs that make up the “Family” chapter of his new album. “The first chapter tells where I’m currently at, learning my identity as a young family man, but also as a man faced with teaching my kids to embrace who they are,” he says.
