She may be fairly unknown to the majority until now, but Swedish singer Beatrice Eli happens to have a special gift when it comes down to making innovative music. The latest offering “Violent Silence” is taken from her forthcoming project, and demonstrates her range of head-swinging melodies whilst capturing a surge of emotion in the moment. There’s an obvious influence of earlier synth-pop throughout the song, but Eli takes creativity into her own hands by making essential use of darker production, giving her a chance to establish a unique identity. Having already supported Miguel on tour, we’re definitely expecting big things to arrive sooner rather than later. Her debut EP It’s Over will be available on March 24th.
