It’s crazy to think, but Mary J. Blige is on the brink of releasing her 13th studio album with The London Sessions. Her new effort is due out next Tuesday and with plenty of records already in the hands of fans ahead of the release, Mary now takes us behind the scenes with some footage of how she crafted one of the album standouts “Pick Me Up.”
Alongside Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy, you can see the Queen talk about how she loves being in London, right before heading out to a club and premiering the record live.
Much like the title of the upcoming album, it will have the vibe of what you’d hear overseas.
