It takes a lot of daring to use an already classic sample used in a a hip-hop song, but Ben Jamin truly does this one justice. Most commonly used by No I.D. for Common’s classic “I Used to Love H.E.R.” track in 1994, Ben takes a chance at flipping George Benson’s “The Changing World” by putting out his own unique take on the saga. By looping a large part of the heavenly guitar riffs, the song captures a whole different essence of the original, which is why he’s currently looking for a worthy lyricist to take control of it.
