While Bonobo‘s last video for “Kerala” was a gripping story starring actress Gemma Arterton, his latest requires you to simply take in the scenery. Photographer and director Neil Krug is behind the stunning video for “Break Apart,” featuring Rhye, who used drones to capture overhead shots of the Californian desert.
“Part of the writing process was to drive up to those places and live with the tracks as I was making them,” says Bonobo about the visual. “This was a new part of the world to me, where the landscape is quite alien and Martian.”
