Last week, NBC confirmed that Carrie Underwood would have an intricate part in next month’s Super Bowl game in Minnesota. While she’s not hitting the half-time stage, the pop-country artist has been tapped for the official theme song on the NFL’s big game this year.
Here, she drops her new single “The Champion,” which reflects on a very serious injury accident experience at home two months ago – which resulted in 50 stitches to her face.
