Cassow hasn’t released a project in nearly a year. But if you’ve been keeping up with him since his U EP last October, you have been enjoying his numerous loose drops over these past few months. With his new project You Only Miss Me When I’m Busy nearing, the hard working Portland artist is officially kicking off his campaign for the upcoming effort.
Cassow is back today with his new single and accompanying video for “Chirp,” produced by Jim Boonie, the producer behind one of our favorite Cassow tracks of the moment “Crazy, Crazy.” In the music video for the single, Cassow is reporting live from in front of a bodega as he raps amongst a guy shadowboxing and another keeping busy on the payphone.
Cassow’s You Only Miss Me When I’m Busy is due out in November.
