2016 is officially a wrap and Soundcloud has taken a look back at the year and some of the top of the class when it comes to music. As far as Top Album of 2016 goes, Chance The Rapper won that category with Coloring Book. Favorite Song of 2016 honors go to Desiigner‘s “Panda” hit and the most followed artist on the streaming service ended up being Lil Uzi Vert.
Some of the most Creative Cities on the network included London, Los Angeles and New York, with the top genres on the network being Hip-Hop, House, Pop, Electronic and Rock.
Interestingly, #TRAPSOUL was the top hashtag on the network, with #CloudRap and #LatinTrap following suit.
