The clock is ticking on the end of Soundcloud because reports came out a few days ago that the streaming company would not survive for another 50 days. People were shocked that such a giant would be struggling to make money after revolutionizing the game.
Chance the Rapper has been on Twitter lately, championing the platform, after making a career off of it. It’s because of him that the GRAMMYs recognize streaming for nominees. We’ve seen plenty of rappers get label deals because of SC and others have blown up without a deal. But Chano is not letting the app die.

Though details of his conversation with SoundCloud cofounder Alexander Ljung have not been revealed, we’re sure he’s working hard to save the service. At least doing what he can to save it.
