Chance the Rapper Opens Up on Collaborating with J. Cole

Find out which song Chance loved the most from his Surf album.

Fresh from a recent performance in London, Chance the Rapper spoke with DJ Semtex about his two of his favorite cuts from the collaborative Surf album with Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale, Greg Landfair Jr. and Nate Fox. He surprisingly opened up on citing the song “Miracle” as the epitome and backbone for the entire project – in his eyes. Things soon transitioned to the fan-favorite track “Slip Slide,” which was one of the first songs the collective made entirely together in studio session.

He went to discuss meeting Busta Rhymes during the creation process of the single and then running into J. Cole at Rick Rubin’s studio in Los Angeles to help them out with organic ideas on “Warm Enough.” Watch more from Chicago excitement about creating material, as we’re still awaiting the release of Thotty from the two.
