We all need a break from reality every once in a while to escape to paradise, which Childish Gambino does in his latest music video. Last weekend, he re-lit a flame back to his sophomore album Because The Internet that released nearly a year, with an official 3005 remix.
Tonight, he continues that trend with a new visual Telegraph Ave, co-starring Jhené Aiko. While fans may have their hands full with new Bino projects in the likes of his Kauai EP and the DJ Drama-assisted STN MTN mixtape, he leaves the downtown district of the Bay Area’s Telegraph Avenue to enjoy a vacation in Hawaii.
While the two soak up the exotic lands of Honolulu including a brief swim, Childish caps things off with a return to the bonfire before a romantic walk back home. However, he soon finds himself at the hands of an accidental hit, where he morphs into a monster with tentacles – which is not the ending most of us expected.
