Longtime friends Common, Robert Glasper and Karriem Riggins have joined forces as August Greene to release a new self-titled album, which is available to stream now via NPR Music.
The project is made up of 11 tracks from the rapper-producer trio, who came together as a group after their Emmy-winning collaboration “Letter to the Free” for Netflix documentary, 13th. August Greene celebrates “themes of optimism and black excellence,” and includes the recent singles “Optimistic” and “Black Kennedy.”
