The original has barely been available in perfect quality for two weeks, but Daughter felt like now was the time to record their own version of Daft Punk’s latest offering.
The Pharrell-featured “Get Lucky” managed to reach the number one spot on the UK Top 40 earlier today, but the indie band stopped by the BBC Radio One Live Lounge yesterday to give Huw Stephens the world exclusive of the cover. It may appear to be too soon to hear another take on the single already, but it’s evident that a completely different sound has been provided to make it their own.
