While the New York Jets continue searching for a starting quarterback and rebuild the franchise, one thing is in order for the upcoming NFL season: a new record label deal.
Def Jam Records will be partnering with the organization for a handful of exclusive content for fans this season. Not only will they seek to improve their in-game fan experience to match the younger demographic of their roster, they plan to use artists from the Def Jam roster to create original songs only for MetLife Stadium, and converge the two worlds of sports and music together. Plus, the reach from both sides could increase.
While more details of what they’re doing is still under wraps, Jamal Adams, Marcus Maye and Jadakiss have something on deck soon.
