Later this month, Denzel Curry is set to hit the road and embark on his Black Metal Terrorist Tour with special guest Boogie. Before that goes down on September 17, the XXL Freshman artist is back today to debut a new music video for “Gook.” A song taken from his latest album Imperial that released in March. Directed by JMP, the music video got “Gook” finds the Miami artist at an undisclosed location surrounded by walls coverd in graffiti. Where Curry and his ULT crew mob out in all white.
Not to be confused with the racial slur used to describe Foreigners, Denzel dives deep into Miami culture creating an anthem around it’s local street slang for “lame or weird. Made to empower societies outcasts, The song focuses on not being afraid to be yourself and turning that negative into a positive.
