DJ Akademiks talks Tory Lanez vs. Megan thee Stallion court trial case moving forward after failing to reach a plea agreement over the summer. Throughout the year, Ak has been letting loose information from inside the Tory and Meg case.

Initially, many were under the impression that Tory was going to plead out to the situation and just accept probation. However, it was confirmed that Tory would be forced to say he was the one behind the alleged shooting, which he immediately declined any plea offerings.

The case has now gone to court and will have live testimony beginning on December 14th in Los Angeles. Now, Tory’s not guilty plea will stand, which was confirmed by Deputy District Attorney Kath Ta a few days ago.

Mr. Lanez faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison if convicted of the charges, as he’s been out on a $250,000 bail since the summer of 2022, when the original incident happened. Since her infamous Instagram Live session detailing her experience from the shooting, Meg has been quiet on the entire ordeal.

In that time, Tory has been vocal about the situation, making an entire album about it and using her words to break down what really happened. Take a look at Lil Ak explaining the current status below.
