Over the last 13 years DJ Drama has co-signed some of the hottest names in the industry and all of rap today, being the curator and host of a wide collection of Gangsta Grill special edition projects, some of which even became retail albums. Majority of those artists have since returned the favor and when called on, they contributed to his last four albums, and even spawned a few hit records along the way.
The Philly born, Atlanta based DJ is looking to put out another well-received full length project with his upcoming Quality Street Music 2 album, that has taken nearly four years to come together. With his current single “Wishing” featuring Chris Brown, Skeme and LyQuin serving as the lead cut from the effort and catching plenty of spin, DJ Drama is taking another step forward in promoting his fifth studio album by revealing the official album cover for QSM2 today.
The sequel and follow-up to his 2012 Quality Street Music, is set to release on July 22nd on eOne Music. In addition to Chris Brown, Skeme and LyQuin, you can also expect to hear the likes of Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Rae Sremmurd and more to be contributors as well.
