After 15 long-years, the doctor is returning for your music fix!
In five weeks, the official N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton will hit cinemas worldwide. Dr. Dre executive produced the project with Ice Cube and is preparing an official original motion picture soundtrack to the project. While the tight-lipped affair became public this weekend, the Compton pioneer is set create music for an entire album for the first time in over 15 years since his timeless sophomore album, 2001.
Along with the doctor, his Aftermath Entertainment protégé’s Eminem and Kendrick Lamar (as well as The Game) are joining him to present the world with an new full-length soundtrack. Whether you want to call it a new N.W.A. album or Detox is up to you, but we’ll be blasting this bitch on the 101 when it releases until further notice.
