October’s Very Own is going “Back to Back” when it comes to Spotify. For the second year in a row, Drake is the most streamed artist of the year. The Toronto rapper amassed 4.7 billion Spotify streams this year, more than doubling the 1.8 billion he got last year. With this year’s numbers, he officially becomes the most streamed artist on the platform of all time.
His album VIEWS got 2.45 billion streams this year, with the single “One Dance” tallying 970 million streams. Both took “most streamed” honors in their respective categories.
