Considering he has a show on Beats 1 Radio and had “Hotline Bling” funded by the company, it makes sense that Drake would give Apple Music an exclusive for his upcoming album Views From The 6 when it drops on April 29.
But don’t think it will only live on the streaming service. VFT6 is actually just getting a week-long exclusive before it makes its way to other digital outlets like Spotify and TIDAL.
Although Apple’s role in the “Hotline Bling” video ruined Drake’s chances to get his first Billboard No. 1, it might pay off for Apple Music to have the exclusive again, since everything that Drake does has been catching fire.
