Dreezy‘s buzz has been growing strong over the last year following the release of her From Now On EP. It continued through her Jeremih assisted single “Body” and went on to pick up from there. The Chicago rapper and singer built more momentum through the standout “We Gon Ride” single featuring Gucci Mane and that quickly carried over into the her next track “Close To You” that featured T-Pain which arrived just earlier this week.
After officially unveiling the title, tracklist and release date of her debut album, No Hard Feelings, last night, Dreezy is sharing the music video for “Close To You” to follow up the big announcement.
The moonlit video, directed by Edward Tran, finds the Chicago artist sitting in her ride out in the rain as she thinking about a special guy friend that she’s trying to get close to. She later links up with Teddy P and the two share the screen with one another while he makes his cameo worthwhile on the smooth song.
No Hard Feelings is set to release on July 15 via Interscope Records.
