We swear, that first Elle Varner album was a classic. It’s too bad she went on a crazy hiatus and we haven’t heard much from her since. Luckily, this year is when she made her comeback with a few singles that have been on our R&B playlist. All of those releases have culminated into her Ellevation album, which is out today and features some big names. Aside from Wale, who we heard on “Pour Me,” Rapsody also shows up for “Wishing Well.” The rest of the project finds Elle on the dolo, but that’s not a bad things because she’s still got the vocals to carry the 9-track project.
