A few days ago, Kendrick Lamar sat down alongside Rick Rubin for an interview with GQ Magazine, as the two touched on working together. With K. Dot reflecting on the impact of his popular 2015 song “Alright,” he also touched on how hearing Eminem in his teenage years clarified his future and purpose in life with inspiring the youth after hearing The Marshall Mathers LP.

Well, the good folks of Genius caught up with Eminem, days after he released his Campaign Speech single (and confirming a new album near) to react to praise he received from his fellow Aftermath labelmate.
