Remember two weeks ago, when we brought light to Young Thug’s situation with Andre 3000? You know, the story that took an entire week for other major media platforms to catch on? In that same clip, Thugga praised T.I. for being one of the artists to still have around his day one people (38-minute mark).

Unlike many artists that blow up, leave their day ones behind and are forced to cooperate with the government or rat; T.I. has been one of the few artists to not turn federal cooperator. Yes, kids, most of your favorite rappers are rats – past and present.

This led to Big Meech having to get on Instagram and put the entire validity and name of the Black Mafia Family on the line to explain T.I. is not a rat. Unfortunately, we remembered the person that put his life on the line for TIP many occasions when no one else would’ve had the balls to do so.

Back in 2007, Alfamega had a serious incident with law enforcement, that he had nothing to do with. Sadly, paperwork emerged for Alfamega, as T.I. immediately kicked him out of the Pimp Squad Click / Grand Hustle. Due to the code of the streets, snitching and ratting was not allowed in the music business.

However, with 6ix9ine being the first rapper to admit to being a rat, it’s not cared about as much during this era of newer rap listeners for whatever reason.

The Alfamega situation happened, when a known street person, turned rat, got caught by Atlanta police. That person tried to implicate Alfamega on the serious incident and pin him as the guy of a crime. Alfamega was no where near the incident and didn’t even know the rat that tried to send him to prison for life. So, to clear himself and his innocence, Alfamega had to say that person was lying. Like he didn’t know that person who tried to take him down for something he didn’t know about, or have any connection to.

T.I. immediately panicked and didn’t even make a phone call to Alfamega about the situation. The two knew each other’s parents, siblings, cousins and other family members. So, the pair were essentially like brothers. We’re sure looking back, T.I. feels bad about the situation with jumping to conclusions; but he had to stand on his decision.

Going back and allowing Alfamega back in his circle would’ve made the situation look bad; regardless if they went to explain the situation or not. Lines were crossed on both sides, that can’t be forgotten, even if they were to be friends again. It just wouldn’t be the same, and we felt it was right to bring light to a person that would’ve died for TIP. From our experiences with Alfamega, he seemed like a solid dude that wouldn’t be afraid to go to prison if he had to protect T.I. in a situation. Make the phone call Mr. Harris.
