All hail the richest female musician in the world. According to FORBES, Rihanna is now worth an estimated 1.7 billion and only trails Oprah Winfrey as richest female entertainer. Most of her fortune comes from her Fenty Beauty empire, which is a cosmetic powerhouse. She launched that in 2017, and is ultimately valued at $1.4 billion. The rest of her worth comes from her lingerie company Savage x FENTY, which is worth $270 million, and also her acting career and earnings in music.
Fenty Beauty as a brand is worth at least $2.8 billion but considering it’s a 50-50 joint venture with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, RiRi is worth half of that.
The brand is now looking to expand some more, with last year’s Fenty Skin launching and their first fragrance Fenty Parfum, coming later this year.
We still have no idea when a Rihanna album is dropping, but it’s good to see her killing it in other endeavors.
