Frank Ocean is taking legal action against Travis Scott over his vocals on Astroworld, TMZ reports.
The singer’s legal team have filed a cease and desist to get him removed from the song “Carousel,” after Frank didn’t approve of the way his vocals were altered. Frank appears on the chorus and third verse with auto-tone used, but it’s unclear exactly what part he’s unhappy with.
Travis apparently has no plans to remove the Frank version from the album.
UPDATE: Frank says he approved the song before it came out, but there was an issue with something else that has since been sorted. The LGBT emoji Frank used in the post is likely a reference to transgender model Amanda Lepore, who was excluded from the final Astroworld artwork.
