Last Thursday, Spotify organised a special press event in New York to discuss new ideas and the best ways of moving forward. In attendance was the recently Grammy nominated singer Frank Ocean, who gave us a taste of his own version of Radiohead’s timeless “Fake Plastic Trees”. This isn’t the first time that we’ve heard a link between the band and singer, after Frank used a snippet of Kid A‘s “Optimistic” on his nostalgia, ULTRA project. The intimate performance was brief, but it’s certainly refreshing to see the crossover between the two genres.
