Freddie Gibbs – 2021 NBA Finals Freestyle

With the Milwaukee Bucks making it a series last night against the Phoenix Suns, the NBA Finals are back to business. The series is now 2-1 with the next game in Milwaukee on Wednesday, with a chance to tie. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been on a scoring run and could make it three games in a row with a 40 point double double.

To commemorate the league, Freddie Gibbs partnered with the NBA and Genius for a new freestyle.

As you can hear below, Gangsta Gibbs has plenty of basketball references, from players on both teams to events that happened throughout the playoffs.

Just recently we learned what his SSS album stands for, which is Soul Sold Separately. The production lineup on there is looking insane and we know he has big guest features on deck. We can’t wait for the album to drop.

“Soul Sold Separately, thatā€™s my motherfucking all fresh shit. The new album is going to be crazy. This is probably going to be the best album I did. I think this one. I think ever since PiƱata, Iā€™ve been dropping classic albums, so Iā€™m not going to stop right there. PiƱata, classic. Bandana was a classic. Alfredo is a classic. SSS, going to be the same thing. I leveled up on his album. Itā€™s going to be more features.

Iā€™m tired of yā€™all motherfuckers underrating me. Iā€™m tired of yā€™all putting certain ni**as over me like Iā€™m not the best gangsta rapper out, for real dawg. Iā€™m tired of that shit. I know n***as got Lil Baby and DaBaby and all them babies and all that type of shit and all these other n***as. I respect all of that, thatā€™s all love. Them hitmakers, I respect that. I canā€™t get in their lane for what they do for making hits, them n***as do that. N***as going to stop leaving me out the conversation.”
