The Full List of 2017 MTV VMAs Nominations

It’s that time of year and the MTV Video Music Awards are on the way. The star-studded music event is going down on August 27 at the Forum in Inglewood, CA and the nominations for the biggest categories have been revealed today. As you can see from the list below, Kendrick Lamar leads the pack in terms of nominations (with 8) and both The Weeknd and Katy Perry coming in second (with 5 each). Others who got multiple nominations include DJ Khaled, Big Sean, Bruno Mars, Chance the Rapper and Ed Sheeran.

There have been some changes to the Artist of the Year category this year, which is now non-gendered and combines both male and female artists as opposed to female/male awards.
