With a new project from the Generationals on the horizon, it felt only right that we heard the next track from their current work. To keep us anticipated to an even further extent, “Put A Light On” comes as a pleasant revival of the sound that they’ve produced in earlier releases. Starting off with a period of notable claps and the band’s evocative vocals, we’re given a good interpretation of their ideas going forward. It’s not long until the song steps into a new dimension, as the New Orleans group provide an additional texture of melodic sound waves into the equation. Their brand new album Heza will be available on April 2nd via Polyvinyl Records.
