Gucci Mane Announces Release Date for ‘Drop Top Wop’ with Metro Boomin

COMING THIS FRIDAY!

At the top of the year, Gucci Mane confirmed he was dropping a new album, sometime this year. After his release from prison in 2016, the legendary Atlanta rapper dropped a total of six projects within 7 months, to cap off the calendar. However, after the ball dropped, he took a much-needed break and planned a stateside tour – which coincidentally just ended two weeks ago.

Immediately after the tour ended, he returned to social media and announced a collaborative project with Metro Boomin, as the two teased music plans. Well, La’Flare has revealed today that his long-awaited Drop Top Wop album, will be entirely produced by the Freebandz representative.

The effort is set to arrive this Friday, May 26th; the one-year anniversary of his exit from prison. It’s also set to have guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Offset and Young Dolph.

Take a look at the official album artwork and tracklist details in full below.
