We’ve actually had “Don’t Front” on repeat since we first heard it, but how did the track come into fruition? Buckshot sat down with MTV to talk about it, from how he first heard about the song, to flying all the way to Detroit to work with Eminem on the record. From one day to the next, it all came so quick for Buck. He literally went to the 313 on Friday morning and by that night, he was already back home.
He also briefly spoke on Slim’s line where he mentions almost signing to Duck Down and recalls a time when NoHa was trying to ink Mr. Mathers. No love lost, Buckshot says he’s glad he signed with Dr. Dre, because everything happens for a reason.
