Hundreds of Unreleased 2pac Songs Found after 5-Year Legal Fight by Estate

Considering Suge Knight is awaiting his formal prison sentence in a few days, some eye-raising news regarding the late great Tupac Shakur has emerged. Back in 2013, Afeni Shakur sued Entertainment One to have hundreds of unreleased mastered songs returned back to her son’s estate.

Unfortunately, the iconic activist passed away in 2016 from a mysterious heart attack, during the filming of All Eyez on Me. Well, this weekend reports have emerged that 2pac’s estate continued their lawsuit against E-One for royalties in 7-figures and have won their case.

The masters will now return back to the estate, which we’re assuming will find a new distributor to handle the roll-out for the content in a few years. We’re still curious, however, what’s going to happen with that $150 million in Death Row liquidated assets that Big Suge nor Tupac’s family has been allowed to touch since the company’s foreclosure some years back. Hopefully, that’s the next move these parties work towards figuring out.

As of now, expect two posthumous 2pac albums to be released in the near future.
