IDK recently ditched the Jay from his name, which happened to coincide with signing a deal with Adult Swim. The DMV rapper is getting ready to release a new soundtrack album titled IWASVERYBAD for a self-produced series, which follows his middle-class upbringing in Maryland.
For it, he’s teamed up with MF DOOM, Swizz Beatz, Yung Gleesh, Del the Funky Homosapien and Chief Keef, as well as producers Tae Beast and Thelonious Martin. The project, made up of 10 episodes, launches September 28th and will drop in three installments.
