Ill Bill is slowly but surely making his way back into the limelight, proven strongly by the collaboration with Weatherman’s El-P on his “Severed Heads Of State” offering last year. We now get the chance to listen to his new single titled “Truth”, which was produced by the one and only Pete Rock. Picking up from where he left off, Bill provides his well-spoken vocals with an admirable flow, not to mention the rich strings and drum patterns used throughout the production. The rapper’s The Grimy Awards album will be available on February 26th, with the likes of DJ Premier and Large Professor layering his profession.
