J. Cole Shatters Streaming Records with ‘KOD’ Album

Drake is usually the one shattering Apple Music and Spotify streaming records, but J. Cole is not far behind. As a matter of fact, he has topped Drizzy with his latest album KOD. In the first 24 hours of the album’s release, Cole World set an Apple Music record with 64.5 million streams in the first day. This was about a million more than VIEWS got when it was released.

He also did 36.7 million streams in 24 hours on Spotify, a new record as well

As of now, Cole has nine out of ten songs in the Apple Music songs chart Top 10, with only Drake’s “Nice For What” holding out a spot that isn’t by Jermaine.

Expect his album to go No. 1 in the Billboard Hot 200 this next week.
