Looks like J. Cole is diversifying and growing his empire. Today is has been announced that the Dreamville rapper will be expanding into more than a record label with Dreamville Ventures and Dreamville Studios.

The new media companies will produce original content for TV, film, music, publishing, apparel and live events, which include the annual Dreamville Festival.

Here’s what Cole had to say about the news:

“Dreamville has always been a mom-and-pop operation with grand ambitions and ideas that extend far beyond music. The hiring of Damien and Candace not only expands our family business with two of the smartest and most capable executives in the industry, but allows us to take a massive leap towards turning those big ideas into reality.”

Former Complex Media editor-in-chief Damien Scott will oversee the dealings for Dreamville Ventures, and former Senior VP of Development at Wilmore Films, Candace Rodney will be in charge of Dreamville Studios.

While details of what Cole World and his new companies are cooking up remains to be seen, be prepared for a full Dreamville takeover in every aspect soon.
