A new documentary made of of mid-90s VHS tapes titled The Unseen: A Detroit Beat Tape has surfaced and it has some new music some rap fans would be glad to hear. The film was put together by archivist Justin Kovar and director Gus Sutherland and features new music by the late producer J Dilla, who shows up on “Ghetto Wishing.” The unreleased instrumental sounds just as good as it ever would have and certainly makes us want to dive into some Dilla beats for the rest of the day.
