Despite only releasing her sophomore album The Electric Lady back in September, Janelle Monáe has been everywhere in 2014. To keep the successful run of material coming, the Kansas singer has recorded her own cover of “Heroes” by David Bowie for Pepsi’s Now Is What You Make It campaign. As admirers of each other’s musical work, Janelle is just hopeful that she did the 1977 offering justice, and we’re positive that Bowie will be impressed with the final product.
