Over the past two years Jason Derulo garnered up a couple of successful radio hits including, “Talk Dirty” and “Wiggle.” Looking to accomplish that same feat in 2015, the Florida singer-songwriter and dancer is here today to drop of his new single “Want To Want Me.” Produced by Grammy nominated producer Ian Kirkpatrick, who is known for his work with such acts as Neon Trees, Blake Shelton, Plain White T’s, and others, the brand new single is much different from that of the hits he’s known for, that idolator describes “smooth, falsetto-filled pop number, relying on sing-along friendly melodies rather than supplying horn blasts and beat drops as hooks.” The new tune is for sure radio ready, but is it the right record to get Jason Derulo’s 2015 album campaign started the right way or should he try again?
