As fond admirers of Top Dawg Entertainment, one name we have come across over various projects is JaVonté. After racking up appearances on Ab-Soul’s Longterm Mentality and Kendrick Lamar’s groundbreaking Overly Dedicated to name a couple, it was always apparent that we would eventually see his gift as a solo prospect at some point. Continuing his work with TDE, JaVonté links up with in-house producer Tae Beast, who we already expect is a regular name that you know well of. “Supernova” is the first single from his forthcoming project, which showcases exactly what the singer has provided over the past few years, stretching the imagination of his entire concept.
