JAY-Z Responds to Meek Mill’s Prison Sentence

The rap world was shocked earlier today when Meek Mill was sentenced to serve 2-4 years in a Pennsylvania state prison for violating probation, stemming from drug and weapons conviction in 2008. He pleaded guilty to a reckless driving charge for a dirt bike incident in Manhattan back in August and with his conviction, many feel he was targeted for his reputation and not given a fair sentence. At minimum, he will probably serve two years.

JAY Z is one of the people that feel like he was treated unfairly, as he reacted to the news and posted a message on his Facebook page.

UPDATE: Hov addressed the news at a concert in Dallas, TX during his 4:44 Tour.

“I’ve got to say something about a young man by the name of Meek Mill. He caught a charge when he was, like, 19. He’s 30 now, he’s been on probation for 11 years. Fucking 11 years. Judge gave him two to four years because he got arrested for being on a bike and popping a fucking wheelie.”
