JAY-Z, Swizz Beatz 2022 album situation is given a major update, as some information has been brought to our attention this week. With both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B looking to release albums this summer, there’s a large void for the fourth quarter.
Considering Drake is also waiting to make his next tour announcement after his brother Abel is done traveling the world, more major news has emerged. As some of you saw last month, the great Swizz Beatz shared a photo on the gram boarding a private plane with Jay-Z.
For those that remember, we did reports of Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz working on an album together, as early as January of 2021. While those plans didn’t happen last year, the world wasn’t all the way fully opened because of the pandemic.
Along with the Jiggman not wanting to put out anything less than the masterpiece we saw with 4:44, that was also a huge hindrance towards this pending release. That also coincided with the music video he filmed in the UK, last September, which wasn’t released.
However, we’re hearing that Jay has been in the studio this year, more aggressively. You may remember him appearing on Netflix’s The Harder They Fall soundtrack with Kid Cudi on Guns Go Bang. Add that to Pusha T’s Neck & Wrist single from just last month and you should see Jigga has been quietly prepping the world.
