Jeezy Finally Addresses His Felony Weapons Arrest

Watch Jeezy’s interview on Hot 97!

Jeezy recently made a stop to Ebro in the Morning, to promote his upcoming Church In These Streets album, out next month, as well as the recently released Politically Correct EP a few days ago. Throughout the 25-minute conversation, the Atlanta rapper opened up on leaving the streets alone for good 10 years ago and how some of his friends caught football numbers behind bars.

While Jeezy’s no longer active in the trap, he still manages to come around on a consistent basis and touch his people. He soon explained how his Thug Motivation movement has transitioned from the streets to the corporate world, where he’s still keeping his ear to everything and using his career to help bring change back to lower-income areas. Watch more from the interview, where Young touches on the infamous felony weapons arrest in 2014, explaining how Bay Area police wrongly incarcerated him after an ironic conversation with Minister Farrakhan.
