2017 has been a breakout year for Jessie Reyez with the release of her debut EP, Kiddo, and a massive collaboration with Calvin Harris on his album. Today, she’s back with a brand new single called “Phone Calls,” which signals just how far she’s come.
The song is about “respecting people that were down with me from the beginning. People that didn’t really have anything to gain or people that just had faith to have faith. People that were riders just to be riders.”
