Chronicling his life and focusing on certain aspects that helped carry him into international super stardom, the documentary interviews some of the people close Jimi, with rare footage of his performance at the 1968 Miami Pop Festival at the suggestion of Paul McCartney. Not to mention the fact they flash some amazing throwback photos, including some as him serving in the Army, and on stage with The Isley Brothers.
