It’s been just over two years since Joey Bada$$ dropped his debut album, but singles like “Devastated,” “Front & Center” and “Victory” have kept fans on their feet leading up to his sophomore effort, A.A.B.A., which is due later this year.
The Pro Era rapper recently stopped by the Genius HQ to talked about another recent track, “Land of the Free,” where he spit the lyrics a capella and broke down individual lines and Kirk Knight’s beat. “I tap into the higher frequencies and they channel through me into this world,” Joey says.
